I can't believe this is still a thing.
It is still a thing. However I got this error when trying to install it on Ubuntu.
Unable to locate package libgnomeui
@Ishan, what version of Ubuntu are you using? The latest versions should have this fixed (15.04 and 15.10 should be OK).
I am using Ubuntu Gnome 15.04. libgnomeui is not available via apt-get instead libgnomeui-0 is available and installing that doesn't solves the issue. I had to install gnome-sharp2 to finally solve the problem.
Interesting... I just tried it on Ubuntu 15.04 netinstall + LXDE, works as expected.

Also tried to install Ubuntu 15.04 GNOME, working as expected.
I don't know why it didn't worked for me.
Fix worked for me on OpenSuse 13.2 with Gnome.

The same error in Elementary OS Loki (Ubuntu 16.04 based) but another solution: install gnome-sharp2 package solved it.
